Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum processors with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Design quantum-resistant encryption protocols for 2026 infrastructure
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning pipelines
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and cryptographers
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals with real-world applications
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and climate modeling
- Secure $10M+ in government grants for quantum security initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or cryptography
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Security clearance or ability to obtain (Top Secret preferred)
- Fluency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware languages
