Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic quantum processor optimization
- Create quantum algorithm blueprints for cryptography and materials science
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite and board members
- Secure $5M+ in quantum research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design or quantum algorithm development
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing breakthroughs
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Certification in Quantum Computing Architecture (QCA) preferred
