Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum algorithms and error correction protocols for practical commercial applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems for enterprise solutions
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography implementations
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, quantum networks)
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonics)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields (arXiv/peer-reviewed)
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with budgets >$5M
- Strong knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
- Certification in quantum security protocols (e.g., PQCrypto standards)
