Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and circuit architectures for 2026-era hardware constraints
- Lead quantum system integration with classical supercomputers and cloud infrastructures
- Develop error mitigation protocols for NISQ and fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to create quantum-enhanced machine learning frameworks
- Author patents and publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum development
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware architecture
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects with cross-functional teams
- Expertise in high-performance computing and classical-quantum hybrid systems
- Strong background in cryptography or computational complexity theory
