Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence
- Create quantum algorithm blueprints for cryptography and optimization challenges
- Present breakthrough research at international quantum summits
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic qubit systems
- Strong track record of leading complex R&D projects
