Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization and implementation
- Establish partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers and research institutions
- Create roadmaps for quantum integration with classical computing infrastructure
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning applications
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development and hardware integration
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in quantum machine learning and optimization
- Experience leading R&D teams with $10M+ budgets
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Knowledge of quantum hardware platforms (ion traps, superconducting qubits, photonics)
