Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Optimize qubit connectivity and quantum gate operations for maximum efficiency
- Create simulation frameworks for quantum algorithms at scale
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum theory and practical implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in superconducting qubit systems and quantum annealing
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Mastery of Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with $1M+ budgets
- Certification in quantum machine learning and quantum cryptography
