Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for 2026 deployment across healthcare, logistics, and finance sectors
- Lead development of error-corrected quantum processors using superconducting and photonic technologies
- Design hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to accelerate drug discovery and materials science
- Collaborate with Nobel laureates to pioneer quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Drive quantum cloud infrastructure integration with AWS Braket and Microsoft Azure Quantum
- Mentor a team of quantum engineers and publish research in Nature Physics
- Secure $10M+ in quantum research grants from NSF and DoD
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies or similar emerging fields
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware design
- Experience securing federal grants or DARPA partnerships
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy milestones and 2026 roadmap
- Strong leadership background managing cross-functional R&D teams
