Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing frameworks using superconducting qubits and topological error correction
- Lead cross-continental R&D teams across 5 time zones to accelerate quantum supremacy milestones
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design fault-tolerant quantum processors at 10mK temperatures
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory through our academic partnership program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or related field (or equivalent 8+ years industry experience)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# with 500+ hours of quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of delivering fault-tolerant quantum systems at scale
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques below 100mK
- Experience securing $5M+ in government/DoD quantum research grants
- Fluency in quantum machine learning frameworks (e.g., PennyLane, QML)
