Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Architect cryogenic control systems operating at millikelvin temperatures
- Create quantum algorithms solving optimization problems intractable for classical systems
- Collaborate with materials scientists to engineer novel qubit substrates
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum platforms
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and computational models
- Track record of scaling quantum systems beyond NISQ era limitations
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
