Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation at scale
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and domain experts
- Create quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications in finance and logistics
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing architecture experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum optimization
- Experience leading technical teams in high-stakes R&D environments
