Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures operating at room temperature
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale systems
- Lead prototyping of photonic and superconducting qubit modules
- Collaborate with AI teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Secure $50M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- File foundational patents for quantum memory innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware development
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum coherence
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of securing government research funding
- Deep understanding of topological qubit implementations
