Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex optimization problems
- Collaborate with research teams to advance quantum error correction methodologies
- Create migration strategies for classical workloads to quantum platforms
- Lead quantum security protocols for next-generation data protection
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming and system design
- Present architectural blueprints to executive stakeholders and technology partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance systems design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, or Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in distributed systems and parallel computing
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
