Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead architecture of hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Develop error-correction protocols for multi-qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit designs
- Create quantum simulation models for drug discovery and materials science
- Drive implementation of quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or quantum circuit assembly languages
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven track record of translating theoretical quantum concepts into practical implementations
