Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and simulation challenges
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Develop quantum error mitigation protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum computing adoption in 2026+ use cases
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming principles (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Present quantum computing solutions to C-suite stakeholders and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or related quantum technologies
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven ability to translate quantum concepts into business applications
- Security clearance preferred for government-contracted projects
