Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 99.9% fault tolerance
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 2026-era hardware constraints
- Secure $10M+ in R&D grants for quantum innovation initiatives
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Certification in quantum machine learning (e.g., IBM Qiskit Certification)
