Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms achieving 1000x speedup over classical systems
- Lead quantum error correction research achieving <10-12 logical error rates
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Create hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor quantum engineering talent and publish breakthrough research
- Secure $5M+ in quantum computing research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 logical qubits
