Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization challenges
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum error correction protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for real-world applications
- Secure $10M+ in research grants with our partnerships with DARPA and NSF
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature and Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and simulation
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, and quantum assembly languages
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Proficiency with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Experience securing government research grants (DARPA/NSF preferred)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Track record of mentoring quantum computing researchers
