Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum-resistant cryptography implementations for financial institutions
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate architectures
- Research quantum machine learning frameworks for AI integration
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM Quantum Computing Conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms on real quantum processors
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and qubit mapping techniques
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature Quantum, PRL)
- Proficiency with quantum simulators (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Certification in Quantum Computing from IBM or Microsoft Azure Quantum
