Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error-correction frameworks for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions
- Architect secure quantum communication networks with zero-knowledge encryption protocols
- Optimize quantum hardware-software interfaces for maximum qubit stability
- Develop patentable quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum-resistant cybersecurity standards
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in topological quantum computing models
- Familiarity with quantum annealing and quantum supremacy experiments
- Experience leading technical teams in high-stakes R&D environments
