Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing solutions for enterprise clients across finance, logistics, and pharmaceutical sectors
- Lead development of error-corrected qubit systems with 99.9% fidelity targets
- Design hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into functional quantum processors
- Develop quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy milestones and 2026-era quantum capabilities
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallel processing
- Track record of securing federal or enterprise quantum research grants
