Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for industrial-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Collaborate with materials science teams to engineer novel qubit substrates
- Establish performance benchmarks for quantum supremacy applications in drug discovery
- Create quantum machine learning frameworks for autonomous systems
- Present breakthrough research at international quantum technology symposiums
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in superconducting qubit design and cryogenic engineering
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms
- Mastery of quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Demonstrated experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning architectures
