Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Integrate quantum systems with classical computing infrastructure through hybrid approaches
- Develop error correction protocols and optimization strategies for quantum processors
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, superconducting, topological)
- Create technical documentation and quantum system performance benchmarks
- Collaborate with government and academic partners on quantum security initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Experience leading technical teams and managing complex development cycles
- Deep understanding of quantum security protocols and post-quantum cryptography
