Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant operations
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Optimize quantum algorithms for practical industry implementations
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-level executives and stakeholders
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum research
- Experience with superconducting qubit or ion trap systems
- Strong background in complex system architecture and optimization
- Excellent communication skills for translating quantum concepts to non-experts
