Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit capabilities
- Develop error-correction frameworks for practical quantum applications
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Collaborate with nanotechnology teams to advance qubit fabrication
- Translate quantum computing breakthroughs into commercial solutions
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite stakeholders and government partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic qubit technologies
- Proven track record of translating quantum theory into functional prototypes
- Security clearance preferred for government-contracted projects
