Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems operating at room temperature
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum accelerators with classical computing infrastructure
- Research and prototype novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards and implementations
- Author technical whitepapers and patent applications for quantum innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices for quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and error mitigation techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulators
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in quantum cryptography and post-quantum security protocols
