Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for near-term quantum advantage in cryptography and molecular simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum system integration
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era computational threats
- Drive research in quantum error correction and quantum machine learning hybrid systems
- Present quantum roadmap to C-suite executives and government innovation boards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years quantum research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and cryogenic engineering
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ systems)
- Track record of securing $1M+ in quantum research grants or venture funding
