Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits and algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Optimize quantum error correction systems for practical commercial deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Conduct performance benchmarking against classical supercomputers
- Author patents for novel quantum architectures and methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record in publishing quantum computing research in top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
