Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum coherence exceeding 1,000 qubits
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for drug discovery and climate modeling
- Establish security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with AI researchers to develop hybrid quantum-classical computing models
- Patent novel quantum computing methodologies and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior scientists in quantum mechanics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction (surface/colour codes)
- Proven track record of publishing in high-impact quantum computing research
