Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures optimized for NISQ and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world problem-solving
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to emerging cryptographic threats
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define qubit coherence and gate fidelity targets
- Quantify quantum advantage metrics for industry-specific use cases
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent expertise)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, Q# simulator)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Track record of translating theoretical quantum concepts into practical solutions
