Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for industrial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Lead quantum error correction protocol research
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit optimization
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $10M+ in quantum research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum algorithm development
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques
- Track record of securing research funding
- Patents in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with D-Wave or IBM Q systems
