Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems leveraging superconducting and photonic technologies
- Design quantum error correction protocols for practical commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, software engineers, and hardware specialists
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise clients in finance and healthcare
- Create quantum security frameworks for next-generation cryptographic systems
- Establish industry standards for quantum benchmarking and performance optimization
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing architectures and methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC systems
- Experience leading $10M+ R&D projects with Fortune 500 partners
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong track record of translating quantum theory into commercial solutions
