Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms solving optimization problems in finance, logistics, and AI
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system integration
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Drive R&D initiatives for quantum machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum space communication projects
- Present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms with proven scalability results
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting and photonic quantum processors
- Security clearance preferred for government collaborations
