Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum algorithms into practical enterprise solutions
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, quantum networking)
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum machine learning frameworks
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Track record of securing $1M+ in quantum computing R&D funding
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Validated ability to translate theoretical concepts into commercial prototypes
