Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-qubit interfaces
- Secure $1M+ in research grants and partnerships with national labs
- Mentor a cross-functional team of quantum physicists and engineers
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or architecture design
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, QML, and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and calibration
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts to practical solutions
