As a key member of our Quantum Engineering Division, you'll architect fault-tolerant quantum processors, develop error correction protocols, and bridge quantum-classical interfaces. You'll influence quantum algorithm development and contribute to breakthroughs in materials science, cryptography, and artificial intelligence. Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop quantum error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant operations
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Collaborate with research teams to optimize quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-generation data encryption
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Published research in quantum computing or top-tier conference proceedings
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in agile environments
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
