Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (superconducting, photonic, ion trap)
- Create performance benchmarks and optimization strategies for quantum processors
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security frameworks
- Develop roadmaps for quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
