Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 commercial deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world applications
- Establish quantum security protocols and quantum-resistant cryptography frameworks
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization technologies
- Collaborate with industry partners to define quantum computing standards and use cases
- Present quantum roadmap to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proven track record in designing scalable quantum systems (superconducting, trapped-ion, or photonic)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in quantum algorithms and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Experience with quantum simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategy
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain government-level clearance
