Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, cryptographers, and ML engineers
- Create quantum-resistant security protocols for 2026-era threats
- Prototype quantum machine learning frameworks on real hardware
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction codes
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy challenges and NISQ limitations
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in cryptography and post-quantum standards (NIST PQC)
