Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to maintain quantum coherence in large systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum algorithm development
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows for performance efficiency
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with clients to translate quantum solutions into industry-specific applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publication record in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Experience leading technical teams and managing R&D projects
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
