Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead development of error-corrected quantum processors with >1000 qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum chip architecture and cooling systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Create quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era threats
- Mentor junior researchers and publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum pilot programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
