Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead development of quantum-resistant encryption protocols for 2026 security standards
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware limitations
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-accelerated machine learning pipelines
- Establish quantum computing benchmarks and performance metrics
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proven track record in high-performance computing architectures
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in cryptographic systems and post-quantum security
