Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum algorithm development
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and gate operations
- Create quantum simulation frameworks for pre-implementation testing
- Research emerging quantum technologies and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to our patent portfolio
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Certification in quantum security protocols (e.g., QKD implementation)
