Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical supercomputing frameworks
- Lead quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption standards
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and cross-functional teams
- Drive roadmap for quantum computing commercialization by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum system architecture
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms or ion trap systems
- Track record of translating theoretical quantum models into practical implementations
