Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems and algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum solutions with classical computing infrastructure
- Research and develop novel quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant architectures
- Collaborate with product teams to translate quantum capabilities into market-ready technologies
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning and optimization algorithms
- Present research findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of quantum innovation excellence
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and information theory
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
