Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum supremacy experiments
- Translate theoretical quantum algorithms into practical implementations
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography
- Create documentation and patents for novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience with quantum circuit design and quantum hardware
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave engineering
