Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in quantum algorithm implementation
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ-era devices and future fault-tolerant systems
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Drive quantum cloud platform integration with classical computing infrastructures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
