Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum circuits for real-world applications
- Optimize qubit coherence times using novel error-correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical ML frameworks for predictive analytics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm development
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects with Fortune 500 partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on actual quantum hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems (D-Wave, IBM Q)
- Strong background in quantum information theory
- US citizenship required for government contracts
