Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to maintain qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Create roadmaps for quantum integration with classical computing systems
- Lead R&D initiatives for quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers on industry best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
