Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithm architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Optimize quantum circuit performance for scalability beyond 1000 qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum processor integration strategies
- Develop security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable business solutions
- Stay current on quantum research through academic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in cutting-edge R&D environments
